Van Dam Estates were highly recommended to us by the building group we purchased our new Villa from 18 months ago. They agreed to be our managing agent for our Villa and in the first year they managed to get us more bookings than we could have possibly hoped for. From our first contact there was a click. Jolanda has been incredibly knowledgeable and always enthusiastic about helping us with the negotiations for our home found in Mil Palmeras. Not only the asking price was significantly reduced, but also the guidance with the purchase was arranged step by step. Even after purchase, Jolanda and Remco know where to go for what with all practical questions and respond very quickly if there is anything wrong. We would wholeheartedly recommend this team.
Actually it is unheard of that we are only now writing a review on this site, the reason is that we have not looked at it. But that doesn't stop us from giving the Van Dam Estates team the deserved credits they deserve. First of all, we go back to 2017, we discovered a Dutch real estate agent on the Costa Blanca who was also based in that region. After an email exchange and telephone call, we quickly realized that it could not go wrong, in fact, we gained a lot of confidence and they have not been ashamed of that. We stayed there for a month to go home with a good feeling, and knew that in the future we only want to rent from Jolanda and Remco. It resulted in a long wintering in 2018 in Cabo Roig, a fantastic apartment by the sea and the entertainment area around the corner without being bothered. Now, 2019 we have again opted for a long winter stay in Dehesa de Campoamor. We can only say, the Van Dam Estates team is incredibly good, knowledgeable, hospitable, attentive and customer-friendly, in short, a maker ready to love, yes, you can do business with these people, all agreements are met time of day. In mid-August of last year 2019, we called Remco van van Dam Estates in our search for a rental apartment for more than 3 and a half months in Spain.
The contact with Remco was immediately good and familiar. We had already had some experience with another Dutch real estate agent before that and that was ultimately negative! Conversely, the contact with van Dam Estates was overwhelmingly positive!
We rented a new-build apartment for the period mid-December 2019 to the end of March 2020. We realized that we had suddenly become hibernators. Why such a long period ?; 1. because we sold our house in the Netherlands and had to bridge the time awaiting the delivery of our new house to be built, 2. We did not feel like the bad cold weather in the Netherlands. These principles were the recipe for a pleasant period in our apartment in Torre de la Horadada, in combination with the service of our real estate agent van Dam Estates!
We had a wonderful period, and considered the house as our own home and took care of it. We enjoyed the service of our real estate agent and especially the care of the "real estate manager" who was immediately ready for us in times of need, and solved our "problems" very adequately. What a service / customer-oriented approach this man has in him. We have never experienced that. Awesome!
Unfortunately, the Corona Crisis meant that we had to leave for the Netherlands earlier.
