Dehesa de Campoamor - The first stage of the Tour of Valencia started from Dehesa de Campoamor. This first stage is a team time trial of the season. A collective race against the clock over 38 kilometers will be the first showdown for the contenders not to lose a possible good final classification on day one. The trail is gently sloping, with the climb of the San Miguel de Salinas (third category) along the way. Who will give the first tap in the battle for the overall victory with his teammates?
The two Dutch cycling teams Roompot-Nederlandse Loterij and LottoNL-Jumbo have started. The Dutch cycling team LottoNL-Jumbo eventually finished fifth. They drove the 38 kilometers in a time of 44 minutes and 29 seconds. A good performance with an average speed of more than 50 kilometers per hour.
