The northwest of the province of Murcia is blessed with a free gift from Mother Nature: hot springs. The towns of Archena and Fortuna in particular benefit from this. The local economy here largely revolves around the spa industry, which can provide therapeutic, beauty and health benefits to users. And those who want to use the facilities for other reasons can also do so simply to relax and unwind. The spa industry goes all the way back to the time of the Roman rule. Of the two spa towns, Archena has the most extensive facilities. The thermal bath circuit is bursting with them. For those who come mainly to relax, the thermal pool water is already a wonderful experience. Fortuna offers more or less the stripped-down and simpler version of the spa experience in Archena. But here too, there is a thermal pool and there are many facilities available in the form of beauty treatments and massages.
