San Pedro del Pinatar - The housing market in the Spanish Costa Blanca South and Costa Cálida has been unstoppable for several years. The image of many Dutch and Belgians is that there are many homes for sale in Spain for affordable prices. This may have been the case a few years ago. Because interest rates have been very low for several years, many Northern Europeans are looking for a way to deploy their assets. From last year, there are therefore many construction cranes to be seen in the area of the Costa Blanca South and Costa Cálida. It seems that more and more people from the Netherlands, Belgium and the Scandinavian countries have found their way to southern Spain.

In the vicinity of the Costa Blanca South and Costa Cálida, many new construction projects are being realized by almost a hundred construction companies. This includes complexes with apartments, bungalows and villas. In general, the complexes with apartments are being realized with excellent communal facilities such as swimming pools, Jacuzzis and beautifully landscaped gardens. We also see that some projects want to distinguish themselves by also opting for luxury spa and wellness facilities. It goes without saying that the apartments are especially designed to offer an unforgettable holiday feeling.

Certainly in the Costa Cálida, many bungalows and villas are currently being realized. The project developers build luxury and compact bungalows and villas. In general, the villas are large enough to enjoy and relax in peace with a family. An important aspect is that these houses can generally offer sufficient privacy and tranquility. This also fits very well with the friendly atmosphere of the Costa Cálida.

Currently, everything that is being built is already sold. Realizing projects is proceeding at a rapid pace. We see that developers are increasing the prices of their apartments and villas time and time again. Apparently this does not affect saleability. The question is how far prices will rise in the coming years.
